Fords Economic SUV

Who Says SUVs Aren’t Green?

One of the problems with owning an SUV is that it often means sacrificing economy for space and performance. But thanks to the new Ford Kuga, those days are over.

The engineers at Britain’s most popular manufacturer have come up with a solution that means owning an SUV will be cheaper than ever before. The engine line-up includes Ford’s renowned EcoBoost technology, resulting in outstanding efficiency. The 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine delivers 150PS and returns 42.8mpg and 154g/km, while the 2.0-litre TDCi Duratorq 140PS diesel engine produces 53.3mpg and 139g/km. The 163PS version of the same unit offers 47.9mpg and 154g/km.

You may be thinking that the improved fuel economy will detract from the performance. Not so. The new Ford Kuga is available with an AWD system that is tuned to enhance driving feel and handling, meaning the vehicle stays responsive in all conditions. In addition, Ford Curve Control is installed to safeguard you if you enter a corner with too much speed. All engines are lively and powerful, meaning you’ll get a rewarding drive wherever you go.

True to form, Ford has included the latest safety spec on the new Kuga. Active Park Assist, Active City Stop, Auto High Beam and the award-winning Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance are all fitted for the complete protection of you and your passengers.

The new Kuga will be in showrooms from February. Contact Peoples Ford today for more information or to place an order.
